4.1 Select information type
You must be registered and logged in to ePortal for accessing the various information types of the repair and maintenance information.
You must purchase time based access to DAF RMI.
The information types that can be accessed in DAF RMI for a VIN are:
- Wiring diagrams
- Recall information
- Maintenance schedule
- Special tools
- DTC resolution
- Symptom resolution
Use the following procedure to access your requested information type for a VIN:
- Start DAF RMI in ePortal.
- By default, DAF RMI starts in the [Asset specific] view.
- Enter your 17-digit vehicle identification number or the 8-digit DAF number.
- A successful vehicle identification is confirmed by showing the ID card with the main characteristics.
- The information types can be accessed via the Direct access menu.
The information types that can be accessed in DAF RMI for a vehicle series are:
- Maintenance documents
- Accessories
- Generic wiring diagrams
- Special tools
- DTC resolution
- Symptom resolution
Use to following procedure to access your requested information type for product features:
- Start DAF RMI in ePortal.
- Select the [Generic] view.
- Select the appropriate range.
- Select the vehicle series.
- The information types can be accessed via the Direct access menu.
